1. What Azuverse is — and what it is not
- Azuverse is an online platform (web portal). It enables parents and guardians ("Clients") to find, book and pay independent language-development specialists ("Specialists") who offer live one-on-one online lessons and introductory sessions for children aged 2–16.
- Specialists are independent providers. They are not employees, agents or representatives of Azuverse. Each Specialist determines their own methodology, materials, schedule, lesson formats and prices, and is solely responsible for the content and delivery of their lessons.
- Azuverse's role is limited to: operating the Platform; verifying Specialist profiles; providing booking and scheduling tools; collecting payments from Clients on behalf of Specialists and remitting them to Specialists after lessons are completed; and providing customer support.
- The lessons offered by Specialists are educational and developmental in nature — language practice, vocabulary, reading, speaking confidence and cultural connection.
2. Accounts and booking
- Bookings are made by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child attending lessons.
- By booking, you enter into an agreement for the lesson with the Specialist you selected; these Terms govern your use of the Platform and the payment process.
- A booking is confirmed once payment is received by the Platform and you receive a written confirmation.
- You agree to provide accurate contact details and to keep them up to date.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are set by each Specialist and are displayed on the Specialist's profile in US dollars (USD). Ranges shown on our Pricing page are indicative only; the price on the profile at the time of booking applies.
- You pay the full price to Azuverse through secure online checkout in advance of the lesson. Payment is processed by a third-party PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store your full card details. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion and fees.
- Azuverse holds the payment and remits it to the Specialist after the lesson is completed, less a platform commission charged to the Specialist. Clients are not charged any additional booking fee above the Specialist's published price.
- Lesson packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless the Specialist's profile states otherwise.
- Promotional prices and discounts apply only within the period and conditions stated in the specific offer.
4. Scheduling, rescheduling and missed lessons
- Lessons can be rescheduled with the Specialist through the Platform free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
- If a lesson is cancelled by you less than 24 hours in advance, or the child does not attend, the lesson is considered delivered and the Specialist is paid, except in documented emergencies reviewed case by case.
- If a Specialist cancels, or a lesson fails for technical reasons on the Specialist's or the Platform's side, the lesson is not deducted, the payment remains held by the Platform, and the lesson is rescheduled or refunded at your choice.
5. Refunds and cancellation
Refunds are handled by Azuverse under our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: unused package lessons are refundable pro-rata at any time during package validity; introductory sessions are refundable if cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Because payments are held by the Platform until lessons are completed, refunds are processed by Azuverse directly, without depending on the Specialist.
6. Your responsibilities
- A parent or guardian must be reachable during lessons for children under 6 and available to assist with technical setup.
- You are responsible for a working device, camera, microphone and internet connection on your side.
- You agree not to record, copy, resell or redistribute lesson content or a Specialist's materials without written consent.
- You agree to treat Specialists respectfully. Azuverse may restrict access to the Platform in cases of abusive behaviour, with unused lessons refunded.
- You agree not to circumvent the Platform by arranging or paying for lessons with a Specialist you met on Azuverse outside the Platform; off-platform arrangements are not covered by these Terms or our refund protections.
7. Specialists
- Specialists apply to join the Platform and undergo verification of identity, qualifications and a demo lesson before their profile is published. Verification is a reasonable-diligence check and is not a guarantee of any specific outcome.
- Specialists set their own prices, schedules and formats and may change them for future bookings; confirmed bookings are honoured at the price paid.
- Specialists agree to Azuverse's Specialist Terms, including conduct standards, child-safety requirements and the platform commission. Azuverse may suspend or remove profiles that breach those standards.
8. Intellectual property
The Platform, its branding, software and content are the property of Azuverse or its licensors. Lesson materials created by a Specialist remain the Specialist's property and are licensed to you for your child's personal educational use only.
9. Privacy
We process personal data — including limited data about your child, provided by you — under our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Specialists receive only the information needed to conduct lessons.
10. Liability
Azuverse provides the Platform and payment handling; the lessons themselves are provided by independent Specialists, who are responsible for their content and delivery. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Azuverse's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform is limited to the amount you paid through the Platform in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law. Educational progress depends on many factors, including regular attendance and practice; neither Azuverse nor Specialists guarantee specific outcomes.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai. Before any formal step, please write to [email protected] — almost everything can be solved by a conversation.
